Our trip with Capt Joe was amazing. I had texted him when I booked the trip that I was on the fence between a tarpon or a permit trip. Ive caught Tarpon before but never had a chance at a Permit. Capt Joe made the decision to head to his permit spot when the tarpon weren’t cooperating. Im so glad we did! About 30 min later the fight was on, and trust me thise permit are tough! we were able to pull in quite a few snapper, trout, and saltwater cats. we even had a few bites on a snook. overall it was a great time and captain joe did an amazing job putting us on fish. joe was very polite and very beginner friendly. i would definitely book with him again when i come back.

My 2 sons and I wanted to catch a big Tarpon and the Masi Boys charter delivered big time.  Joe Masi was a great guide and we learned a lot on this trip.  A 1 hour snd 20 minute fight certainly raised blisters on my son Adrian’s hands but Joe Masi coached him through the whole fantastic experience.

It was an unseasonably cold day in St. Pete, not exactly the best weather for fishing. In spite of that, Joe was courteous, knowledgeable and a great teacher. He patiently explained and showed us newbies the basics of fishing, while providing excellent tips for the more experienced members of our group. As a result, everyone caught a fish or two, even three! It was a great experience and we hope to come back agan.
