Captain ryan is a good guy and a knowledgeable captain. I’ve been on a half dozen flounder and striper charters back Northeast and this one is probably geared more for little kids or first-timers I feel like. There’s just not much excitement or fight that goes into this type of fishing. 2 or 3 hour trip is plenty, 4 hours is too long. It’s my fault for booking it not understanding fully what pan-size fishing means.

Thanks for the review. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding you had in booking your charter. Inshore bottom fishing is an affordable option we offer geared towards kids and first timers that just want to catch fish. There are other options to catch trophy fish, which sounds like the experience you were looking for.

Capt Ryan, was great. He found the fish, took a little bit of looking, but we had so much fun. My wife had never caught a Red Drum before, and seeing my Dad have fun catching them, made this the best trip I could ask for.

Planned a trip for a Saturday afternoon, it turned cold and it rained all day. Captian Ryan suggested we go the next day earlier in the day. The weather on Saturday was cold and rainy, on Sunday it was cold and sun shinning. Captain Ryan still made it happen and we still caught a some keeper Red fish.
