Captain Joey VanDyke was great. He was ready to go before we got there. He is familuar with the river and knows where the hot spots are. He was very patient with the kids and always ready to untangle a line. Always answered any questions they had. Hope to fish with captain Joey again.

Was rainy and unusually cold for first of May, and the river was low, but the captain continuously put us on fish. Caught plenty of stripers plus a few catfish and a spotted bass. Overall, was a fun outing in spite of the conditions.

I really enjoyed my 5 hour striped bass fishing trip with Captain Joey VanDyke. We started the morning fishing live bait in the rapids which provided non-stop action. Since I was mainly focused on fly fishing, we then moved downstream a bit and had a great time catching stripers using clousers with a 10 weight and 350 grain sinking line. I really appreciated all of Captain Joey’s advice and knowledge about this fishery. He is very experienced and knowledgeable on tactics for catching these... Mehr
