Had a good day on the water, despite water being a bit choppy. A good amount of light tackle action, mostly Spanish mackerel, with a mix of ladyfish, bluefish and others. Then, to mix things up, we went after sharks for a bit. Hooked three and landed two within an hour. Not big- sub-100 pounds each - but it was enough work that I was ready to go back to the light stuff. John kept me freshly baited and casting the whole time, so I got to fish non-stop except for the run out and back.

Despite some choppy seas, we still got on some good spots and filled the cooler with snapper and yellow tail! Dez and Andrew were awesome and kept the jokes rolling (sometimes at my expense). Great crew all around and great times were had.

Went to the reef with capt Johnny Maddox. Caught our limit of snappers. THe captain was fun was and very knowledgeable. Made the trip fun and productive. Recommended a great restaurant that cooked our catch, and it was outstanding!

Family of 4. The oldest daughter (13) had mixed feeling before the trip. Captain Rob had her catching and wanting more. 10 year old son couldn't get enough. Wife got in on the action. The Vessel was perfect (50') loads of space, A/C, helm seating and bow seating. Super comfortable. The galley, restroom, and sleeping area TOP NOTCH. Will definitely book again and recommend to all. Captain Robert is a pro.
