    (SUMMER SPECIAL 6 hour Trip)

    Fish galore!

Excellent trip. Captain was great, we got on fish right from the start very first stop. As a solo angler I caught 40-50 fish covering about ten different species. Even saw a good size shark as a bonus. Would definitely recommend and I'll be trying to book again next year!

    (4 Hour Trip AM – Inshore/Nearshore)

    Fish are friend!

My family and I had a great time. Captain Nick took us to all of the hot spots. No sooner than our first casts, we were getting bites! He was fun and friendly and couldn’t recommend him enough! We will be doing again in the upcoming years.

    (4 Hour Trip - 7am)

Way better than our group charter

Captain Keller was awesome. Next time I’m in the area with my buddy, we’ll be booking with Captain Keller again, don’t tell the other Nelsons, this Captain Nelson is the best Nelson, he took us to all the spots, made the trip enjoyable, very knowledgeable of the area, overall a great half day. We hooked up on some and lost others but that’s the way it goes. Still beats a day in the office.

Speckled Trout fishing is all about easy access, steady action, and light tackle fun. Also called Spotted Seatrout, this inshore sport fish thrives in bays, flats, and marshes. They hit hard, make quick runs, and taste great when regulations allow harvest. Anglers love them for reliable bites and classic topwater strikes.

You can target Speckled Trout by inshore fishing with spinning gear or fly fishing. Live shrimp and small bait fish work very well. Soft plastics and jigheads produce consistent bites. Topwater plugs draw explosive strikes at dawn and dusk. A popping cork, which clicks to attract fish, is a simple and deadly setup.

Expect a relaxed trip in protected waters with short boat rides and steady casting. This is a great choice for first-timers, kids, and anyone who enjoys active, hands-on fishing. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses to spot bait, and comfortable clothing that dries fast. Most captains supply tackle, bait, and licenses where required, but always confirm before you go. Early mornings and tidal movement often improve results.

Before any Speckled Trout fishing trip, check local rules. Licensing, permits, seasons, and harvest limits vary by area and can change during the year. Make sure your group has the right license, and follow size and bag limits where you fish. When in doubt, ask your captain or local authorities for the latest guidance.
