The wind can’t stop us!

Tarpon fishing has been insanely good lately! Weve been getting multiple opportunities and even getting them to eat artificials most days. If you want to check tarpon off your bucket list, now is the time to go.

We have put 29 cobia in the boat in the past two weeks. Today we had a monster 80+ pound fish jump and cut the line with its gills. A few minutes latet we hooked another but this time it was on a small jig rod setup for hogfish. We chased the fish for 15 minutes and he spooled us twice before he wore through the 10lb leader. We still managed a great box but those two will haunt is for a while.

The spanish Mackerel along with cobia, tripletail, bluefish, and houndfish are back! With the huge influx of freshwater from recent rains we have been fishing a little further out and have been consistently out fishing the other boats in the area. As temperatures begin to stabilize, the fishing should continue get better by the day.
