Big Fish throw down?

Riepilogo della Battuta

We got on the water early and eased into a solid pattern pretty quick. After scanning around, we found fish stacked up on a ledge in about 55 feet of water. You could see them holding tight to the drop, so we set up right on top of them and got lines down with live shad. Didn’t take long before rods started loading up. The bite was steady—good, quality fish coming off that ledge one after another. Most of the action stayed consistent as long as we kept fresh bait down in the strike zone. When the school would slow for a minute, a quick reposition on the ledge would fire them right back up. All fish were caught vertically fishing live shad, keeping baits just above the fish we were marking. They were feeding well and staying grouped up, which made for a productive and fun trip. Ended the day with a strong box of fish and plenty of action. Solid conditions, good company, and a pattern that held up the whole trip. Hard to ask for much better.
