Riepilogo della Battuta

I fished with Dean from Bucks Graphics and his girlfriend Crista yesterday. Dean said he wanted to catch his first Snook and we checked that box first thing in the morning with a beautiful 32 and 3/4 inch drag screamer! Other than the Snook, the bite was a little slow in the morning, on a slow moving outgoing tide. However when the tide turned around and started coming in, things picked up, and Krista decided to put the hammer down on some quality Seatrout, including a pair of fat 22 + inch ones. Not bad for her first time fishing! The Trout we're all between 17 and 1/2 and 22 and 1/2, so they took a nice bag of fillets home for a couple of dinners. These guys toughed it out through are slow morning bite, some howling west winds and rough seas, and put together a pretty good day of catching fish out in God's Country?. Looking forward to having you guys back again soon, prayfully with less wind and calmer Seas ??!!!

What a great crew I had the pleasure of fishing with yesterday! The wind and wave report looked decent for the morning but, of course, when we got out there in the Gulf, we were looking at fairly consistent one foot plus seas and strong winds coming out of the West. I checked with my crew and they said let's do this so away we went. Mark, Beth, Dave (who was a little camera shy) and Kathy stuck it out through some pretty adverse conditions and managed to catch quite a few fish. Kathy started things off with a hard fighting Jack, Beth put a keeper Trout in the box, Dave caught a nice Redfish, and then proceeded to get a couple jumps out of a 100 lb Tarpon! At the end of the day he said he will be seeing that Tarpon in his dreams tonight?. They caught multiple species including the aforementioned Redfish, Seatrout, Jacks, as well as Flounder. All of our stops except one produced fish, with at least ten,17 and 1/2 to 17 and 3/4 Redfish in the mix. Dave finished off the day with a keeper Redfish and Beth jumped another Tarpon right before we headed back to Yankeetown Marina. Captains Cove came through again today with some nice live shrimp in the middle of our annual shrimp shortage, as well as some decent size mud minnows. All of our different baits had good success catching fish, and the good Lord supplied us with a nice lady fish for cut bait which worked real well also! My crew really fished hard in some tough conditions, with the seas getting up to 2 ft+ at times and steady wind at about 15 mile an hour plus before we decided to call it a day and head back to port. It was another blessed day fishing with a fantastic crew out in God's Country!
