RockenReel Sportfishing: MORNING REPORT 8/1/2026! Starting out our 73 degree water El Nino Season 2026 for August with a Cannon. What a wild morning on the water! Our 3-hour trip turned into an absolute rock-and-roll battleground today. We hooked into a lightning-fast, 5-foot Mako shark that gave our customers the show of a lifetime! This was hands down one of the meanest Makos we've ever encountered. He was putting on a massive aerial show, leaping left and right, and even tried to charge the boat! Our awesome anglers Patrick and Noah held their ground and landed him, securing some top-tier white meat for dinner (and a little extra to take care of the crew!).To top off an already legendary morning, we also slammed the "Three B's"—bringing in a ton of hard-fighting Bass, hard-charging Bonito, and fierce Barracuda.Back to back Mako sharks caught on the last 2 three hour RockenReel Sportfishing Charters- Captain just called and reported 3 other Mako Sharks swarming the boat " S.S. TARTAR SAUCE" ALL THE WHILE WHEN FIGHTING THE BEASTS THEY LANDED THIS MORNING!! BOOYA - Captain Steve

ORANGE COUNTY FISH REPORT 7/31/2026 LIMI
ORANGE COUNTY FISH REPORT 7/31/2026 LIMI
Luglio 31, 2026
RockenReel Sportfishing: ORANGE COUNTY FISHING REPORT - Date: July 31st, 2026. Captain Noah is jazzed again! Status: ABSOLUTE MAYHEM! We just wrapped up the final day of July, and let me tell you, the fish did NOT want the month to end! We had a completely WIDE OPEN bite out there today that felt like something straight out of a fishing movie! From the second we pulled up, the ocean was alive. Birds were everywhere, diving like crazy, pinpointing massive schools of fish right under the surface. It was a total frenzy! If your line hit the water, you were bit. EVERY SINGLE CAST. Here is how the deck stacked up: Bullet Tuna: Flying into the fishbox! These little muscle balls put up an incredible, fast-paced fight on light tackle. Calico Bass: Aggressive, hungry, and thick! They were smashing everything we threw at them. Big Bonito: Total drag-screamers! These big boys were charging hard and keeping everyone on their toes. Caught some spotted bay bass, a small Halibut and a White Sea Bass all in the harbor mouth at our sweet spot. It didn't take long before the boat hit FULL LIMITS across the board! Smiles all around, sore arms, and an absolutely unforgettable final day of July. Summer fishing in Orange County doesn't get any better than this. If you missed out today, don't make the same mistake twice—the bite is red hot and our calendar is filling fast! BOOK YOUR SPOT NOW AND GET IN ON THE ACTION! - Captain Steve
