We should have caught more fish to but I kept missing the hook sets. We caught one nice red snapper but nobody that we passed was doing any better. The crew was knowledgeable and worked hard but some days are just like that.

with our time constraints and other people we were stuck with doing an afternoon fish trip. we ended up catching one of the target species which was a black snapper. our guide Andreas was fabulous. he worked hard to get us on to fish but they just weren’t biting. we tried several different spots. I would recommend this fishing trip December through February and a morning fish

The boat was nice, and included high end gear. The captain had collected live crabs for bait the night before and we caught live minnows on they way out. We fished all over the mangroves and the river leading to the Pacific. We caught some nice keepers and at the end, he took us to a spot that was loaded will small sea bass and catfish so that my wife and daughter could catch a bunch of fish as well. We also saw a bunch wildlife, from exotic birds, to monkeys and even crocodiles! It was a lot... Altro
