  Best Halibut Fishing!

  We had such an awesome and successful halibut fishing experience with Captain Jon and Landon! We chose an afternoon half day trip since our cruise ship didn’t dock until 9 am, and most morning/full day trips started at 8 am. Captain Jon took us to a great spot in Auke Bay, and as soon as we cast our lines, everyone on our boat immediately hooked on halibut, which kept happening every cast until we caught our keepers. With time left on the charter, we moved spots and started fishing for rockfish. In addition to fishing, Captain Joh stopped for us to see some local sea lions and humpback whales, which were on our route to our second fishing spot and back to the dock. The water was also relatively calm in the bay. My wife is prone to motion sickness even in the calmest of water, but didn’t have any issues. Overall an awesome experience and would definitely book this trip again in the future!

  Great experience all around

  We have chartered fished in Florida, Lake Erie, Cabo and a couple other places over the years. This Alaska fishing trip was BY FAR our best experience. The communication from the day I made the reservation until the trip was completed was first class. Our captain was amazing. We got our limit of Halibut within the 1st hour. With our extra time we saw whales, seals, harbor porpoises and eagles. We also picked up 7 Rockfish. I highly recommend Fishing Booker

  Awesome and memorable Trip!

  We ended up with the best Whale watch and Salmon catching trip we could ask for! we had over 20 whales “bubble fishing/netting” within 50 yards of us… they just kept getting closer and closer to us and were able to catch some great videos! even caught some Cohos and pink salmon! overall awesome trip and would absolutely recommend!!! The Captain and Levi were GREAT!!!

  We went after salmon first. Caught a shaker king and a couple of legal salmon. Moved on to halibut and rock fish which we limited out in by noon. Back to salmon all afternoon with no results. Didn’t see any other boats with fish either. Lots of whales some bubble feeding. Great food and coffee provided with donuts

  Fishing Trip Turned Whale Watching Tour

  Didn’t catch any fish, but it is a little before the season. However, we saw a Humpback Whale and several Orcas. We got pretty close and got some great videos. Also got to see some eagles feeding, which was fun. Captain Terry and Dillon were great. Very personable and interesting to talk to. We had a great time.

  thank you for the great review, its early fir fishing but not for great views of the Glaciers, Killer Whakes and Humpbsck Whale top it off with a Eagle show great job Captain Terry and Deckhsnd Dillon
