Always get you on some fish he hates getting skunked so he wont let you go without catching a fish
My boys and I went out with Captain Trevor of Good Thing Fishing Charter and had a blast. We got on fish right away, Trevor was attentive to our needs but let us do our thing also as we have fishing experience. Trevor was conversational, shared his experiences on the gulf and fishing and tried to get us on bigger fish which we requested. Knowing that catching less fish was likely the outcome of going after larger fish we were ok with and wanted and Trevor had no issue and made efforts with our time allottment. Trevor had nice equipment, a nice boat and was very clear in his prefishing directions. We were able to catch red snapper, Mahi Mahi, saw some triple tail, a dolphin, a large tiger shark and more. Our first experience ocean fishing was a success and it was a fun 4hr trip. Thanks Captain Trevor for the memories made on the water!
We had an amazing day out with Good Thing Fishing Charter and Captain Trevor Carr! I took my daughter and her friend and Trevor made the whole trip a blessing from start to finish. He was kind, patient with the kids, and clearly has deep knowledge of the local fish and waters. We landed a great mix, vermillion snapper, red grouper, and gag grouper and Trevor was hands-on the whole time, helping the kids reel in and learn along the way. It's rare to find a captain who's this skilled and this genuinely kind. We'll definitely be booking with Good Thing Fishing Charter again. Highly recommend Captain Trevor to anyone looking for a fun, successful, family-friendly fishing trip!

Captain Trevor was on time and punctual with all communications and departure! it was myself and my 6 year old son and we caught alot of fish and a wide variety and mkst of all the captain was very patient and knowledgable. highly reccomend !
took my son fishing for a 4 hour morning trip. Captain Trevor got us on fish so there was acion the entire time. not to mention we hooked something big enough to drag the boat backwards, unfortunately we lost it but a great experience all around. highly recommend if you got kids. Trevor took care of everything.
