If I could give more stars i would. Capt. Derek was the best, he asked if we were flexible to adjust our trip by a few hours because the reds were more active in the afternoon. He was right, we caught plenty of reds and they fought hard… Capt. Derek is wise and mature beyond his years. With young men like Derek representing our young people the future of America is bright! Absolutely the best! My 7 year old is hard to please and had big expectations (fishing is his passion) and excitement going into this and they were exceeded in EVERY WAY! We have been on several charters over the years and none have compared to the experience we had in Clearwater with Captain Derek and his first mate, Beckett. Beckett kept our hooks baited and Captain Derek put us on the fish! We caught snapper, trout, and several other fish. The best part is he knew the waters and where to go to be most productive. My son and I booked this 2 hour charter last minute. He’s 12 and loves to fish. The Captain and crew were awesome and super cool. We caught Snook for the first time and had a blast. Will be booking a longer trip the next time we come!
