We had a great time with Ken in Fishing for Sturgeon (Catch and Release). Ken was really knowledgeable. We caught 3 fishes (42”, 38” and 52”) and had another 5 nibbles on the lines. We fished in a couple of spots based on the Fishfinder monitor Ken had. In the last hour, Ken gave us a boat tour of Portland and the shipyard. Ken was highly flexible and had all the gear we needed for the weather (rain pants, jackets). We really enjoyed talking with Ken!

My teenage daughter and I went hoping to catch Sturgeon…. Once we found the honey hole everything we were hoping for came to life.  Ken is extremely knowledgeable and equally willing to share the ins and outs without making you feel overwhelmed.  We caught four that I remember and lost a half dozen more while refining our technique. they were all sizes. From arm length to 4+ feet.  I guarantee you’ll leave with a smile

Ken made this trip special from start to finish! We took a private tour with kids and grandparents and had an amazing time! Our 9y/o son has never been on a fishing charter, and by the end of the trip, he was running multiple lines! At the end, Ken even gave us a boat tour of downtown Portland! Highly Recommend Captain Ken!

Captain Ken did a great job of bringing us right to where the sturgeon were! He quickly and patiently taught us what we needed to know and, as a result, we were very successful! It was a beautiful day to be on the river. We were able to communicate with Captain Ken ahead of time and brought layers to wear as well as water and snacks.

we lucked out with Captain Ken!  he is extremely knowledgeable and incredibly earnest.  He guided us to a trusted spot for sturgeons and we landed on a few fish even with water temps being a bt high.  plus user errors. :) We had such a wonderful experience.  highly recommend Capt Ken
