Alex was the best. He knew where the fish were hiding and we caught over 75 fish. Rock bass and a few large mouths tossed in. It was a great day thanks to Alex. He taught us a few tricks and he was extremely personable. You can’t go wrong, with Alex as your guide you can’t go wrong.

Spent a full day trip fishing with Mr. Kolody and my son.  In addition to putting us on a lot of great fish, he took the time to give us both tips on fishing and make sure all of our needs were taken care of.  Alex provides all of the tackle and is a skilled boat captain.  The atmosphere in the boat is professional, but always fun.  We have fished many times with Mr. Kolody and the experience is always fantastic.  While fishing with Alex my son and I have both caught our personal best largemouth... Alex has taken me fishing on numerous occasions for both bass and trout and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed. He is extremely knowledgeable and always puts you on the fish. Alex put me on numerous 5lb+ largemouth, my PB smallie (5lb 14oz.) and helped me extend my fishing season by teaching me to trout fish in the winter and ice fish when everything is frozen solid.  Each time I go fishing with Alex I learn something new. I have been going to Alex Kolody for 3 years now. Every time ive been with him ive had a great day of fishing. I always tell people about how much fun we have and how much fish we catch. If your looking to go on a fishing trip with friends or family I recommend Alex. I have caught my personal best large mouth and small mouth on his boat.
