Chatted with the captain months before the trip. Was warned that because of the tides the conditions could be ‘tough’.  We had good weather in the morning with minimal wind.  The targeted species was Halibut and Stripers.  The captain briefed us on how to set up our live bait and the best way to keep the fish ‘on’ once hooked.  Very important since it was quite different from how it works on Halibut in the Puget Sound in Washington.  The scenery in the Bay was great, the fishing...
