I cannot say enough about Capt James and his first mate Ross. I booked this trip mostly for my wife and daughter and our friend and her daughters to get a fun experience on the water. James put them on the fish immediately and they had a blast! We fished in several different locations and took in a beautiful morning. We took four teens out on a fishing trip and had an absolute blast. The captain and his first mate were fantastic—patient, fun, and totally on top of everything. The all caught fish, learned a ton, and talked about it all day. Highly recommend!

The Captain and first mate put fourth way more effort than I expected in order for us to first get live bait to fish with and then repeatedly moving spots to try and find the fish. It was a beautiful day to be on the boat and out on the water but it came after a couple weeks of bizarre summer weather. We caught some fish, but not nearly what we nor the crew had hoped for. John is a very experienced captain, who definitely knows the underwater structure and where the fish are at, but unfortunately the weather & tides didn’t cooperate and we were able to hook into any fish.
