Your Fishing Charter

Get aboard Twenty Four VII Charters, and explore fishing out of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, or out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Captain Frank Grider has spent half of his life fishing the productive waters of Lake Michigan, so you can be sure that he’ll take you to all the best fishing spots.

You’ll be fishing on board his large 40’ Pacemaker offshore sportfishing boat, ‘Twenty Four VII’, powered by twin 385 HP Crusader engines. On board you will find a clean bathroom, and with a 15’ beam, the boat has a comfortable and spacious cabin with seating for all. The big back deck is never too crowded, and offers plenty of room for up to 6 anglers to get the most out of their fishing experience.

Flexible morning and afternoon trips are available, with departure times depending on the time of year and seasonality of species, and can be adjusted to accommodate your group’s needs. 

Some of the species you will target include Chinook and Coho Salmon, as well as Rainbow, Lake, and Brown Trout. Capt. Frank will provide you with all the necessary rods, reels, tackle and lures, while you can buy Wisconsin fishing licenses on board for $14 a person.

Every trip will end with the opportunity to take plenty of group and individual photos with your catch. The crew will then clean and bag it for you to take home. Capt. Frank is a younger captain who is highly experienced, and has acquired a lot of knowledge to make your trip as enjoyable and safe as possible.

Come aboard the Twenty Four VII for a full day of fishing, targeting species such as King Salmon (Chinook Salmon), Coho Salmon (Silver Salmon), Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Lake Trout, and Brown Trout. All trips include the use of rods, reels, tackle, and lures, while Wisconsin fishing licenses are able to be purchased on board.
NOTE: Start times vary depending on the month and species being targeted, so agree with Captain on the departure time prior to the trip.
