Your Fishing Charter

Komodo Fishing Tour is a local fishing tour operator based in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia. This town is the gate to one of the New Seven Wonder of Nature – the Komodo dragon. The area of Komodo National Park has many small islands and is rich with fish and corrals. While fishing, you can also have fun snorkeling as well as observe the Komodo dragon in the wilderness of Komodo Island. Captain Ignasius Fendi will lead you to the best fishing spots in the area and do his best to make your trip as enjoyable as possible. Join him aboard and have a memorable time fishing in Indonesia!

The boat you’ll be using is a restored 32’ GT70 angler boat that can fit up to 4 guests. Running on twin 220 HP Yamaha engines, the boat will quickly take you to the fish and back. Apart from navigation electronics, the boat’s equipped with snorkeling gear, outriggers, downriggers, as well as tuna tubes. There’s a portable toilet you can use and there’s an ice-box so you can store your fish.

The species you can catch include Yellowtail Snapper, Ehu, Blue Marlin, Dogtooth Tuna, Gilt-head, Bluenose Warehou, and Great Barracuda. Using heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, jig, and pop to catch your prey. Some species have to be released but you’re free to keep the other. Smoking and alcohol aren’t allowed during the trip. Also, you’re welcome to bring kids on the boat.

Captain Ignasius supplies you with lunch, snacks, as well as drinks. You should bring your fishing equipment and licenses.

This trip is best for anglers who really want to experience the water. The program starts out of Labuan Bajo every day at 6:00 a.m. You'll be fishing for 8 hours every day and then get back to your hotel in Labuan Bajo. The crew provides lunch, mineral water, soft drinks, and fresh fruit. The captain will arrange a transfer from and to your deluxe hotel room that you'll share with two occupants. Breakfast is included. You'll fish for 3 days and spend 3 nights in the hotel.
