Your Fishing Charter

LBISportfishing runs angling trips out of Long Beach and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Capt. Jonathan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Spanish Mackerel, Weakfish, Bonito, Dolphin, Little Tunny, and Seabass, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 29' Hydra Sport boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a toilet, ice box, and a wireless trolling motor.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.

As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don't have to worry about it. 

You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated.

Spend 4 hours inshore or back-bay fishing for Flounder, Black Seabass, Bluefish, Tautog, and anything else that bites! This trip is perfect for anglers and families just getting into fishing. With a newly installed Rhodan trolling motor we are fully equipped for everything you need to catch fish. Rods, reels, bait, safety equipment, and a fishing license is included for all anglers. The only thing you need to bring is food, drinks, and sunblock.

Spend 6 hours fishing inshore for Tautog, Black Seabass, Bluefish, and Flounder, to name a few. This trip gives us more time to run further and fish longer in order to increase our chances of catching fish! Everything you might need will wait for you on the boat, including strong gear and a knowledgeable captain. Pack some refreshments and sunscreen and you're ready to roll.

3/4 Day Trip – Bottom Fishing

This trip is dedicated to the fisherman searching for a trophy Striped Bass on light tackle. When the bite is hot, it can provide you with the best inshore fishery New Jersey has to offer! In this six-hour trip, we will provide you with everything you need in order to catch the fish of your dreams including rods, reels, tackle, and a fishing license. The only thing you need to bring is warm clothing, food, and drinks!

3/4 Day Trip – Stripers

This is a unique trip in which we target massive bluefin tuna close to the Jersey shore. With the limits being very strict, we are usually targeting one very big fish!

Spend 8 hours inshore fishing for trophy-sized bottom dwellers like Black Seabass, Tautog, Flounder, and Bluefish This trip is perfect for more experienced anglers committed to spending a full day out on the water targeting trophy Fluke and Tautog. Bring your drinks, snacks, and sunscreen, and leave everything else to us.

About a 30-50 mile run to target giant sharks such as makos, threshers, bulls, tigers right off NJ!

Offshore Shark Fishing

On this type of trip, we will be targeting mahi-mahi on super light tackle! This is a very fun and delicious fish to target as they often school up and can frenzy around the boat!

Summer Mahi Mahi

This trip is designed for the more serious anglers in hopes of landing trophy Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna by running offshore up to 60 miles. On this trip, we will do everything we can in an attempt to catch your fish of a lifetime whether it be by chunking, jigging, or trolling. All rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are included for this trip. Be prepared to bring lots of sunscreen, food, and drinks as we will spend a minimum of 12 hours out on the water.
