Your Fishing Charter

Established in 1995. Veteran Owned. Available for 1-4 passengers. If you’re looking for a fun and relaxing fishing trip during your visit to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, join Captain Scott aboard the Impulsive. With over 29 years in the charter fishing business, his knowledge of the local waters helps him tailor a fishing trip to his clients’ individual needs.

The Impulsive is one of the most recognized vessels on the Mississippi Coast with a reputation for catching fish. The 25 foot Stamas center console is powered by twin 115 hp Yamaha 4 stroke engines. All trips include use of top of the line Penn rod and reels. The Impulsive is equally suited for inshore trips with light tackle fishing as well as offshore trips tailored to catch the larger species located just off the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Capt. Scott concentrates on inshore species, such as Speckled Trout, Redfish Flounder and more. These fish are ready to be caught just minutes from the Impulsive’s dock. Capt. Scott provides “seasonal” offshore trips which allow his clientele the opportunity to catch larger species including but not limited to, Bull Redfish, Shark and Jack Crevalle. 

Captain Scott has been featured on the television show “World of Saltwater Fishing” and has served as an instructor at several saltwater fishing seminars.  His experience on the waters of the Mississippi Gulf Coast allows him to help his clients catch the right fish at the right time of the year for these waters.  For anyone who wishes to keep their catch, Capt. Scott will clean your catch at the end of the trip. If you are searching for some fun with the kids or wanting to check out the local fish populations then let Capt. Impulsive Charters

On this trip, you will be targeting a variety of species depending on the month you are fishing. Most fish are caught not too far from the Impulsive’s dock. During the summer months (July, August, and September), fishing can be action-packed with Bull Redfish, Jack Crevalle, and possibly Shark. This trip could consist of both light and medium-heavy tackle fishing, again depending on what month you are fishing. Fun for the entire family. GRATUITY IS CUSTOMARY AND APPRECIATED ON ALL CHARTERS

Our “Seasonal” 3 Hour-Spring Break Special is a big hit for those looking to get out for a few hours of “Light Tackle-Inshore” fishing fun. This trip consist of targeting a variety of fish JUST MINUTES from the Impulsive’s dock, so there is not a lot of running time to get to the fishing grounds. Most fish caught are great Pan Fryers OR you can have a fun time catching and releasing the fish you catch. Fun for the entire family. “See Ya On The Water” GRATUITY IS CUSTOMARY AND APPRECIATED ON ALL CHARTERS

3 Hour “Spring Break Special”

On this trip, you will be targeting a wide variety of species depending on the particular month you are fishing. Most fish are not really far from the Impulsive’s dock, so there is not a lot of running time to the fishing spots. Mostly it is all light tackle fishing, but in July, August, or September, you could possibly catch Bull Redfish, Shark, or Jack Crevalle on this trip. “See ya on the water” This will be fun for the entire family. GRATUITY IS CUSTOMARY AND APPRECIATED ON ALL CHARTERS

4 Hour Trip - Inshore

The offshore trips run a little further out from the Mississippi Coastline (approximately 1-4 miles). On these trips, you will bottom fish for some of the area's bigger species such as Shark, Bull Redfish, Jack Crevalle, and more. These trips are only run when sea conditions are not too rough. The offshore trips can be action-packed in the months of June, July, August & September “See ya on the water” - GRATUITY IS CUSTOMARY AND APPRECIATED ON ALL CHARTERS

4 Hour Trip – Offshore April - Oct

The offshore trips run a little further out from the Mississippi Coastline (approximately 2-7 miles). You and the crew will bottom fish for some of the bigger species such as Shark, Bull Redfish, Jack Crevalle, and more. Offshore trips are only run when sea conditions are not too rough. They can be action-packed in the months of June, July, August & September “See ya on the water”  GRATUITY IS CUSTOMARY AND APPRECIATED ON ALL CHARTERS
