He became a captain at 18 and has since run fishing boats of all shapes and sizes, turning his passion into a profession. A lifetime of experience and knowledge guarantees you the chance at that trip you won’t forget. Come discover this amazing ecosystem and habitat with Imperial Sportfishing!

Your adventure takes place on a restored 23’ Mako center console that can sit up to 5 anglers. Running on a 250 HP Yamaha engine with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots, the boat will quickly take you to the fishing grounds, so you'll waste no time traveling. 

Whether stalking Snook and Redfish in the backwaters and the bay or hunting for Tarpon, Kingfish, and Sharks along the beaches and passes, there's no telling what might be on the end of your line! Apart from the species mentioned, you can also go after Hogfish, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle, and more. The techniques you can expect to use to attract fish include bottom fishing and spinning on a mixture of light and heavy tackle. You can choose if you want to keep your catch or return it back to the water.

Capt. Garret covers you for all the fishing tackle, bait, licenses, drinks, and provides a catch cleaning and filleting service. Bring nothing but the snacks you want to keep yourself energized and you’ll be set to go.

The perfect trip for someone looking to catch fish and have a relaxing productive day on the water. We target all inshore species from snook and redfish in the mangroves to snapper, trout, and mackerel on the flats. Sometimes we hook sharks and tarpon. There is no telling what might swim up to the boat!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM)

Nearshore fishing is considered to be within 9 miles of the nearest point of land. Out there, you'll target Snapper, Grouper, and Hogfish on the ledges and rock piles. You could also run into Kingfish and Tarpon. This is best for groups that look to take fish home, so get ready to fill those coolers.

4 Hour Trip – Nearshore

If you want to target some of the larger species the Tampa Bay has to offer, be sure to book this Shark/Tarpon package. You and the captain will depart from the dock at 1:00 p.m. and spend four action-packed and fun hours chasing these elusive creatures.

Targeting all inshore species and allows more time to chase and find the fish when 4 hours just aren't enough.

6 Hour Trip – Inshore

Target snapper, grouper, Kingfish, tuna sharks and much more nearshore. 6 hours allows us plenty of time to check different pieces of bottom and explore to find the biggest fish!

6 hours is the perfect amount of time to try and target both shark and tarpon. Being able to check multiple spots we will find the best bite in the bay area.

6 Hour Trip – Shark/Tarpon

Experience a full 8 hours fishing the bays and beaches of the Tampa Bay and St. Pete Beach area. This trip is best suited for people that would like to experience all that the inshore fishery has to offer.

Full day inshore

Pursue one of the most iconic and exciting fish that florida has to offer. The Silver King (tarpon) is known widely for their acrobatic fighting style and large size. They average between 80-200lbs and are a must on every anglers bucket list.

6 hour Tarpon Fishing

This is an 8 hour trip out into the gulf of mexico. Bottom fishing and trolling all the reefs and wrecks this trip is best suited for those trying to catch alot of fish and take home meat.

Full day Nearshore

This trip is for those serious about catching big fish. We will fish all over the st. Pete beach and tampa bay area pursuing the giant fish that patrol its waters.
