You only need to pick the date and let Westbound Sportfishing take you on a memorable fishing journey in Florida. Leaving out of Bay Pines Marina in beautiful St. Petersburg, your captain can head out to inshore and offshore grounds, reefs, wrecks, limestone ledges, or the local grass flats. The captain knows where and how to put you on the hot bite, so come aboard and enjoy your next fishing trip in Florida!

The boat you’ll be fishing offshore is a 30’ Parker center console that can take a maximum of 6 guests. Ran by a brand new 350 HP Suzuki outboard and uses all the modern fishfinder, GPS, radio, as well as radar technology in order to make a quick and safe reach to the fish. The boat has a livewell, an fishbox, food cooler, as well as a portable toilet you can use. Turn to the first mate if there’s anything you need and they will gladly help you out.

On your trip, you’ll go after various species of snapper and grouper, King and Spanish mackerel, cobia, tuna, permit, mahi mahi and more. To reel them in, you’ll use a combination of bottom fishing, live bait fishing, trolling, as well as jigging. Both light and heavy tackle are available. You can keep the any fish you catch that is in season and within the legal limits. Bring your kids along for a day they won't forget!

This trip gets you further offshore to where you have a better chance of getting some keeper Grouper. Target tasty bottom fish such as Snapper, Grouper, Porgy, and more, or hit the wrecks for some bigger fish like sharks, Goliath Grouper, Barracuda, Permit, and more. Please keep in mind that most of the wreckfish put up a great fight but aren't suitable for table fare.

Tarpon is a highly sought-after gamefish for many anglers. Its long and powerful runs with breathtaking acrobatics make for a fishing trip to remember. Hop aboard and try your luck with the Silver King. These trips are 6-8 hours depending on the fishing results and weather conditions. Up to 4 anglers can join the trip.

3/4 Day Trip – Tarpon Fishing

The full day offshore trip is for those looking to catch that trophy fish, or catch a lot of keeper fish to feed the family! Typically departing at 7:00 a.m., the fishing grounds are about an hour to an hour and a half out depending on the type of year and weather patterns. You can target the reefs for good-eating bottom fish or fish the wrecks for Amberjack, Goliath Grouper, sharks, etc. Talk to your captain about what you want to accomplish.

Full Day Trip – Deep Sea

Red Snapper season! Available dates should be June 1 - August 10th. This is a short season in high demand. An 8 to 10-hour trip 30-50 miles offshore. Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Tuna, Cobia, etc. Fish guaranteed!
