The ROFC team is committed to providing you with an unforgettable fishing experience whether you want to hunt open water for Striped Bass (AKA Rockfish), Perch, and Bluefish, disappear in the shallows to cast a fly at Bull Redfish or Cobia, sight fish the Eastern Shore’s islands for a mixed bag, or build your own custom trip. Our crew has the perfect combination of knowledge, experience, and expertise to put you on the fish!

During the Chesapeake Bay fishing charters season, anglers are able to chase various species of fish the bay has to offer utilizing light tackle, fly, and live bait techniques. On each of its adventures, the crew tailors the perfect fishing experience based upon its guests’ skill sets and objectives with respect to the species targeted. Come and learn about some of the crew’s exciting fishing adventures in the Chesapeake Bay’s Middle and Lower Bay.

The boat you’ll be using is a 27'  Pathfinder center console that can safely take up to 6 guests, including accommodating those using wheelchairs. The boat comes with a toilet for the guest to use. The crew will take care of everything you need for a wonderful day on the water. 

We take special joy in ensuring an amazing trip for anglers of all skill levels. 

Fish w/Rock On Charter Fishing!!!

Pick what you want to fish for! Experience hands-on light tackle jigging and top-water fishing for a variety of different species. You will be fishing for Red Drum, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish. To keep you on the best fishing possible, you move where the fish moves! Therefore, the location, time of launch, and time of return may change some due to fish migration. Rockfish (Striped Bass) and Perch are also targeted.

These are shared trips and 4 angler maximum. These trips are fast paced and for the angler that cannot get 4 or more friends or family together to charter a ful boat trip.

 Trips include light tackle jigging and topwater popping. We are Targeting rockfish,bluefish.,redfish, perch, and trout.

The crew loves to take families and kids! There is nothing better than seeing the joy on the face of a kid catching fish and having fun.
 Rex being a parent of a very active 6-year-old son and his parents being grandparents, they take special joy in ensuring an amazing trip for anglers of all skill levels and ages. They love teaching as much as they love fishing. If you’re looking for an upbeat team to provide you and your family with the trip to remember for a lifetime, look no further! This is for KIDS.

Half Day Trip- Kid/Family Fishing

This is a one angler and guide trip. Great opportunity to “tune up” your casting and fly-fishing skills. You will be the only one fishing and have the boat to yourself.
We will be fishing our Hewes 21 Redfisher. It is equipped with Garmin electronics (Hummingbird side scan coming this spring), a 300HP Yamaha and a Motor Guide trolling motor.
Rod holders…GOT THEM!!!  Room for 8 fly rods plus tons of storage.
Bring you own equipment or use all our latest ORVIS rods.

Solo Fly-Fishing Trip

June, July, August, and into September is PRIMETIME!

The bottom fishing is GREAT. We supply everything - so come yell “fish on”! 

With 4 hours on the water, take home some the best tasting fish on the Chesapeake Bay

CROAKER SPOT PERCH BOTTOM FISHING

The spring shad run on the Potomac River can be a magical time .
We have all Orvis fly rods available . Trip will be on our 27' Pathfiner with pleanty of room and ALL the best electronics. Great trip to get on some fun fish to catch and have a great day fly-fishing for these want to be tarpon. This is a two person maximum trip. Use our equipment or bring you own.

Fly Fishing Shad Spring 2025

Great trip for light tackle back country on the Chesapeake Bay! We are running our 21’ Hewes Redfisher boat to get way back in the shallow bays and islands of the middle bay and Tangier Sound. Limited to max of 3 anglers. Enjoy secluded fishing for Shad, Trout and Redfish.

Light-tackle Shad  Perch Trout Reds

Have a memorable time using hands-on light tackle jigging and top-water fishing for many different species. You and the crew will be chasing "Rockfish", Perch, Red Drum, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish. In order to have the best chance of making a catch, you and the crew will move with the fish! This makes the exact location and start/return times subject to change.

Half Day Trip–Build Your Own! (PM)

Join us  April – May 2025 “down south" near Virginia Beach and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel for some EXCITING BULL REDFISH ACTION. Capt. Giovanni has been fishing the spring migration for years and has some great locations that these migrating fish LOVE. 
Want to catch a BULL RED on your fly rod…This is the shot!!
Trip is 5+ hours
Lots of sight fishing and we will be all over the electronics finding fish. We can also have some Giant bluefish and striped bass show up.

Spring Trophy  Bull Redfish

Conditions are sensitive but when the stars come together, Maryland is home to some of the best Cobia fishing on the planet. The crew lives for this time of the year. Here’s a summary of a typical day. Depart at first light and run down the bay at blistering speed till you're in the area. You'll get on the front casting deck waiting for the crew to call out a fish. You cast, work the bait, then BAM! Fish on! That’s what sight fishing for giant Cobia, Redfish, and Trout is all about. Captain's favorite!
