Your Fishing Charter

Toby Ann Charters runs angling trips out of Gloucester and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Capt. Brian is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 3 to 12-hour trips, you can target species like Haddock, Tuna, Bass, and Cod, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

Your boat for the day will be a 36' Calvin Beal that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Striped Bass fishing for the afternoon. Departure time is flexible between 12 and 3 PM.

4 Hour Striped Bass PM

Come out and catch some Striped Bass on the 5 hour trip. We will fish live bait, dead bait, artificial lures...whatever it takes to hook them up. This trip can be booked for morning or afternoon. Departure times are flexible day to day.

5 hour Striped Bass AM

Afternoon Bass bite. This trip can leave the dock between 12 and 1PM. Departure times are flexible depending on scheduling for that day. 

5 Hour Striped Bass PM

Explore the Gulf of Maine in search of Haddock and other groundfish such as Cod, Pollock, and Redfish. The trip is suitable for all abilities – this is a great introductory trip for beginners! Morning or afternoon trips are available. Departure time is flexible.

6 Hour Trip – Haddock

Book this trip for AM or PM. Departure times flexible. 

6 Hour Trip – Striped Bass

Come out for an afternoon of bottom fishing. Haddock, Cod, Pollack, Cusk, and Red Fish are all likely to be caught on these trips. Departure time is flexible so feel free to send a message with any questions.

Mid summer through October is prime time for shark fishing out of Gloucester. Porbeagle sharks up to 500 pounds, giant Thresher, Blue Sharks and Makos are all common around this time. You can do battle with these strong fighting fish on standup gear, full sized tuna rods or even light tackle.Some species are excellent for eating and can be processed for you to take home. Catch and release is also practiced. Book a trip and see what comes swimming up our chum slick. 6-8 hour trips available.
