Your Fishing Charter

Fish Acadia Deep Sea Fishing Charters is located in Northeast Harbor, Maine and is ready to take you on an exhilarating adventure where the scenery will fill your senses and revive your soul!

Capt. Luke is here to get you on some fish and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and kite fishing, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 3 to 12-hour trips, you can target local species.

Your fishing adventure starts on the F/V "OpporTunaty," a 42' Bruno Stillman working fishing vessel that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a toilet and an ice box. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water, as well as all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. There will be complimentary water onboard, and you're welcome to bring your preferred drinks for the trip. 

After the trip, you'll share all the spoils with the crew. Specifically, you'll keep all legally allowed fish except market-sized Tuna. If a saleable tuna is caught a discount will be applied to the trip's price. For more details, please get in touch with the captain. A first mate will be there to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated. Feel free to bring your children to share these memories with.

Curious about how Lobsters are caught in Maine? On this trip, we will haul a few Lobster traps & reset them just as it's been done in Maine for generations. Best of all, you can keep all legal-sized Lobsters and crabs! 
The trip includes sightseeing of the local area, & if time allows, we can try to catch a few mackeral. Please note this isn't a deep sea trip, we stay nearshore & focus is on lobstering rather rod & reel fishing. Please book a custom 4 hr trip if you'd like deep sea fishing with Lobsters.

Custom 6 hour Trip

One to two hours travel to an offshore destination, with possible views of Mount Desert Rock. We will target Cod, Cusk, with the option of Halibut. Per federal regulations, halibut is restricted to 1/day. If you are interested in halibut fishing please call or message prior to booking.  Targeted species will vary depending upon state and/or federal regulations. Cod is catch and release only except for April & September. . Mate Gratuity not Included. Seasonal.

Full Day Trip – Deep Sea

Custom Full Day Trip

Early morning 12 hr offshore Tuna excursion, specifically targeting Giant Bluefin Tuna with "opporTUNAties" to catch live bait & groundfish.

Federal Permit regulations stipulate that any Bluefin over 73" are property of the boat. If we catch a market-sized Tuna, we will refund you at least 25% of the sale of the fish, up to the full price of the charter. Please also note that marketable-size Tuna may only be retained on NMFS-regulated fishing days.
