With guide and tournament fisherman Shawn Rogers at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide with over 30 years of experience in California and now Colorado. Shawn is an active member of Denver Bassmasters with several tournament wins and 2 “Angler of the year” trophies! Shawn has also caught countless Bass over 10lbs during his residency in California including an 18lb fish in 2007!!!! This is the experience you’ll get here in Colorado!!! 


These waters are known for Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Walleye, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to spin fish using light tackle.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 21’ Legend Bass boat with a capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. 

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles as per park rules.

 I have been guiding for 30 years and i can provide TONS of references dating back to California in the 90’s when i first started if needed.
