Book your next trip with Catherine C. Charters and discover what makes fishing in Virginia Beach unique. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bob knows them forwards and back. 

Cobia, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and more could be biting, depending on when you go. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll using light tackle.  Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned Now that’s dinner!

You'll be casting lines from a spacious 43’ open cockpit vessel with toilet and shade awning, bench seating, and all modern sportfishing amenities. Lots of open sunny, and shady space for up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Bob has rods and reels for you.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! 

Planning a family adventure? Kids are welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. It's always wise to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
