During the early summer, Tarpon begins to migrate to The Pamlico Sound, the Neuse River & the Pamlico River to spawn. These majestic creatures start "rolling" in late June and stay much of the summer. By mid-July, the world record Redfish (Bull or Old Drum) start their migration to the rivers and sound. Holding 18 of 24 IFGA World Records for Redrum, Captain Dave has mastered the art of catching these fish in his 40 years of chasing these behemoth fish. They will stay until early October.
