Book your next trip with Amelia Backwater Fishing Co and find out what makes the fishing in Fernandina Beach so unique. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Brad can tell you all about them. 

Depending on the season, you might hook into Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Kingfish, Tarpon, Red Snapper, Black Drum, Black Seabass, Black Grouper, and anything else that bites. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Brad also offers fly fishing and will provide the necessary gear.

Your boat for the day is a 22' BullsBay that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Families making a day of it will be glad that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
