Your Fishing Charter

Bite Me Too Charters is all about fishing the stunning waters of Traverse City on the east or west bay along with Lake Michigan trips available in Frankfort. With Captain Will at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Lake Trout, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, and who knows what else! Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Will believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 25’ Wellcraft walkaround with room for 4 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. A few items to bring include bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
