Top Shot Sport Fishing is located in Hilton Head, SC, and specializes in nearshore and offshore adventures. Going out with Captain Jay Prescott and his crew of mates, you'll have everything you need to catch the incredible array of fish that call these waters home. These guys are experts at teaching beginners, and they can locate the biggest fish for pros, so you're all welcome aboard.

Capt. Jay has been a Hilton Head Island resident for over 30 years and knows all there is to know about these waters. He's a patient and knowledgeable man who loves to take out families and teach them about the local fisheries and the importance of preserving them for future generations. Come aboard and learn more than just fishing!

You'll fish aboard an established charter boat – a 31' Morgan offshore sportfishing vessel. This spacious and comfortable boat will get you to the productive grounds safely using a GPS and a fishfinder, and comes equipped with all the safety and electronics needed. Up to 6 guests are welcome aboard to make yourselves at home, taking advantage of the amenities, including a toilet. 

Choose between the nearshore and offshore waters off the southern tip of Hilton Head Island, and into the rich waters around Daufuskie and Tybee Islands. On your way to the fishing grounds, you'll get to see some dolphins that call these waters home, as you discover the beauty of South Carolina's waters. 

Depending on when you come, you'll have a vast array of fish to target. Between November and April, you'll mostly be bottom fishing for Seabass, Triggerfish, Grouper, and Snapper. During the summer months, you'll have the option of trolling for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and other species. Alternatively, you can target a variety of tasty bottom dwellers on what promises to be a thrilling day out.

Bring some drinks and snacks aboard, and settle in for an incredible day out with Top Shot Sport Fishing. Please remember – no Bananas onboard!

This is an extended trip that lasts 6 hours that will see you fishing the South Carolina's artificial reefs. Depending on the time of the year you can catch a wide variety of fish. From May to October, you will be trolling for Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Blue Fish, Barracuda, and anchoring for Sharks and Mackerel. If you take a trip from November to April you can target Spottail Bass, Black Drum, Sheepshead and Black Seabass.
