Hoping for an adventure offshore in Venice and Nokomis? Then Reel Rebels Fishing Adventures has a trip with your name on it! Captain Marvis will be your private fishing guide, which allows you to benefit from years of angling experience.

Depending on weather conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Scup (Porgy), Pompano, and plenty more. You’ll target your catch by light and medium tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

 A fun family fishing experience for families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Marvis runs a 23’ Bulls Bay center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain will head out up to approximately 9 miles nearshore or offshore depending on weather and target species such as Grouper, Kingfish, Snapper and more. The trip starts at 2pm. and lasts for 4 hours. Bring snacks and drinks and the captain will provide the rest.
