Book your trip now to have the time of your life fishing in Port A! You won't find a more child friendly charter-Capt. Randy donates his summers teaching a free fishing camp to the local kids in Port A.

We don't book many trips on booking sites due to our numerous repeat customers, so please call us to make sure we are open when booking far in advance. You can check out all the bays in style from an experienced captain who lives on the island and fishes year-round. This is the best family-friendly charter you will find and Captain Randy will make sure your family is safe and has a blast fishing.

Capt. Randy has been fishing in and around Port A for the last 30 years and since he lives and fishes here full-time, he is here to get you on some fish and to make sure you have fun doing it. 

You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, jigging, and throwing lures, depending on what fish you're going after. As part of the 4 1/2 or half day trips, you can target species like Snapper (seasonal only), Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder and Speckled Trout, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

Your adventure begins on board a brand new 2023 Majek Illusion 25-plus Bay boat with a Yamaha 250 SHO that can fit a maximum of 5 anglers. The boat is fitted with a Wet Sounds complete stereo system, Minn Kota trolling motor, Garmin sonar/radar, Live Scope, and two Raptor shallow water anchors.

You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

NOT A TOURNAMENT TRIP If you prefer the afternoon fishing, leave the Fisherman's Wharf marina in Port Aransas at 12:00 p.m.(12:30 after the daylight savings time change) for a half-day bay fishing trip, and return to the marina around 4:30p.m.(5:00 after the time change) You'll get to target Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and Redfish sheepshead. Prices: $600 for 2 people, each additional person is $100 for a total of 900 for 5 people. Discounts for military/LEO with cash pay direct book with us only.
