Your Fishing Charter

Excited to catch some fish in Mountain View? Make it happen, with J & J Guide Service! Captain Jeff will be your guide, offering years of local experience.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and who knows what else!
On these trips, you can expect to troll using light tackle.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll be casting lines from a 21’ Supreme flats boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it is necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. A trout tag is also required.

It’s always wise to bring sunblock and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Come enjoy a beautiful day on the White River!  You will enjoy an action-packed day catching rainbow trout with the possibility of catching Brown Trout as well as Smallmouth Bass.  Not only is the fishing some of the best on the White River, but you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery that this river has to offer.   If the dates you are wanting are blocked off, be sure and message us for availability as we have 2 boats available.
