Your Fishing Charter

There's a fish with your name on it in Palmetto and Palmetto Pat’s Fishing Charter will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Patrick, giving you access to years of angling experience. 

Species like Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Flounder, Sheepshead, Tarpon, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. 

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach! 

You'll be welcome aboard a 19' Carolina Skiff flats boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I learned how to fish at an early age and i think it helped me throufh life more than i realize sometimes. This trip is for young anglers who either enjoy fishing or would like to learn how to.

Kids trip

In the summer months, our coastal areas are flooded with sharks. They’re tons of fun and always cool to see up close. Typically we can catch Nurse Sharks, Blacktip, Sand Sharks, occasionally a Hammerhead, Bull Sharks and big Stingrays.

3 Hour Trip – Sharks

4 hour fishing trip fishing inshore or nearshore for what’s biting!

4 hour trip in the afternoon for those who are not morning people it’s okay theirs fish out there that feel the same way.

Depending on the time of year the starting hours may vary but this is a trip to try a better your chances at landing a fish of a lifetime. We’ll mainly be targeting big trophy size Snook with big baits and big tackle, if you’re feeling up to soaking some baits and watching the morning sunrise this is your trip.
