Your Fishing Charter

These waters are known for Lake Trout, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Brown Trout, Bowfin, Catfish, Yellow Perch, Atlantic Salmon, Coho Salmon, and more – with any luck, and they'll make your reel scream. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. 

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach! 

You'll be dropping lines from a 25' Pilothouse that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
