During the early summer, Tarpon and "Old" Drum or "Bull Drum" begin to migrate to the Pamlico Sound, the Neuse River & the Pamlico River to spawn. These majestic creatures start schooling & "rolling" in late June and stay much of the summer and fall. Starting Mid-July, the world record Redfish start their schooling and feeding phase allowing for the area to hold 18 of 24 IFGA World Records for Redrum, Captain Dave has mastered the art of catching these fish in his 40 years of chasing these behemoth fish.
