Your Fishing Charter

There’s a fish with your name on it in Kodiak and Off The Dock Charters will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Eddie, offering years of professional experience.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Halibut, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Black Rockfish, Yellow Eye rockfish, Pacific Cod, and anything else that bites. During the trip, you might be trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You’ll be casting lines from a 40’ Perfection Catamaran that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as bait and lures.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the crew 15–20% to show your appreciation.

You will need to get an Alaska fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Coffee will also be available on the Wild Thing.
