Federico’s Fishing Charters welcomes you to the stunning waters of Puerto Peñasco.

These waters hold game fish like Giant Seabass, Broomtail Grouper, Cubera Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Flounder, Barracuda, and more with any luck. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!

Your trip begins aboard a 24’ Yamaha center console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Ernesto has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
