Your Fishing Charter

Breakday Charters is based in Atlantic Beach, NC on the wild and beautiful Crystal Coast. The highly experienced crew knows all the hot spots and always works hard to ensure their guests have a successful day on the water.

Enjoy a ride aboard the 22’ Tidewater bay boat, "Breakday", that can comfortably take up to 4 people fishing. The captain can car a maximum of 6 guests people but please contact him prior to booking to discuss as it will impact the fishing tactics employed for the day. The vessel has a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots and comes powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. It's rigged with modern electronics including Sonar, Chartplotter, and VHF radio, and equipped with a wireless trolling motor, shallow water anchoring system, half tower, and baitwell, making the boat perfect for these waters.

The crew can accommodate any angler’s needs. You can go fishing inshore, choosing between tidal rivers, marshes, sounds, and creeks, or nearshore in the ocean weather permitting. Forget work, just choose which fish species you would like to target and step aboard. The local waters offer a lot of angling possibilities, and the crew knows the zone very well.

You’ll use quality equipment by leading brands such as Penn, Shimano, Temple Fork Outfitters, and Star. The crew will show you the best fishing technique to land the fish of your dreams, whether that is trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and popping.

Expect to target Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Weakfish, Whiting, Cobia, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Bonita, False Albacore, Sharks, and who knows what else! Your trip will include your fishing licenses, as well as rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. 
Once caught, the fish may be cleaned and filleted for you by the crew. Don’t forget to bring bags to take home your fillets.

Base rate is for 3 anglers. We might find ourselves casting topwater plugs for Red Drum on an oyster bar, pitching jigs and live baits to deep current swept marsh points for Speckled Trout and Flounder, or vertical jigging Breakday Bucktails for flatties. Lots of options here! Start times will vary based on weather, season, or tidal conditions. This pricing reflects nearshore fishing options available if the weather permits.
