Captain Joe Somers has been running fishing charters for over 40 years. An experienced angler, he’s also a marine expert, and will take you to the best spots in search of the best fish. 

Spend your day in style aboard a 32’ H&H Downeast. Perfect for cutting through the Long Island Sound’s choppy waters, she’s the perfect vessel for both relaxing and fishing. Enjoy comfortable seating and place your drinks and snacks in the fridge, as you seamlessly drift off to the fishing grounds thanks to the onboard fishfinder. When you get there, you’ll have plenty of space to move as you target some serious fish.

You’ll be grateful for as much help as you can get when battling these beasts. The first mate will be at hand to help you in any way, and to answer any questions, so it’s not all down to you. Experienced anglers and novices alike will love the fishing here. Use your skills while bottom fishing to entice the bite of tasty Tautog and Striped Bass, as well as battling Bluefish, and more.

Make the most of the productive waters of the Long Island Sound. Home to incredible game and table fish, you'll head around 10 miles away from the dock, targeting Stripers, Tautog, and Bluefish. Try bottom fishing and jigging to entice the bite, before getting ready for battle, as the fish will try anything to wriggle away from your line.
