Your Fishing Charter

Spend the day with Cody Beckman charters and find out what fishing in Tampa is all about! With Captain Cody at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

These waters are known for Tarpon, Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, Tripletail, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Cero Mackerel, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Goliath Grouper, Black Drum, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. 

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly! 

Your day begins aboard a 26' Andros center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
