Hi, I’m Captain Brian of Half Moon Charters.
Come explore the amazing fishing around the Sarasota Bay area on my 24-foot Everglades 243 powered by a Suzuki 300. She’s capable of fishing the flats and offshore comfortably.  Bring any snacks you want, and I will provide ice-cold water and Gatorade. You can bring beer but no bottles please. I ask that no hard alcohol is brought on the boat, you are here to catch fish and enjoy the day, the party starts later in the Siesta village. 
I provide all rods, bait, fishing license, and humor. 
 
I have been fishing since my grandfather took me when I was 6, I caught a couple of fat flounder that we cooked for dinner that night, I was hooked! 
I’ve lived in 5 states, (Florida 3 times), and spent 6 years in the U.S Navy since then and always found somewhere to fish.  I have been fishing from Key West to Tampa for the last 13 years and have to say, I love fishing in the Sarasota Bay area, we have some of the best inshore and nearshore fishing around. 

We will target Snook, jacks, snappers, grouper, redfish, sheepshead, pompano, mackerel, speckled trout, cobia and many more species.  Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons.
You can keep fish for dinner if it is in season, I will gladly clean your catch and bag it for you.

I love to have kids on my boat, I’m a patient and knowledgeable teacher, I have had 4 of my granddaughters on the boat at the same time! Boy was that a fun day. Please let me know how many and their age and size so I can make sure I have a life vest for everyone. Children under 6 must wear a vest the entire time we are on the water.
