Make some memories and go fishing with Gone Fishin' Guide Service. With Captain Tim at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands. Come see everything that Possum Kingdom has to offer! From the amazing fishing to its spectacular views, this lake is a hidden gem! 

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Striped Bass, White Bass, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. 

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach! 

Your boat for the day is a 24' NauticStar bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We will be targeting Striped Bass predominantly mixed in with White Bass! Depending on the conditions and time of year depends on how we will fish. We will use live bait mostly but other options of trolling,drifting,long line, dead stick etc.
