Your Fishing Charter

There's a fish with your name on it in Boca Raton and Captain Ted's Charters will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Ted, giving you access to years of angling experience. 

These waters are known for Lobster, Snowy Grouper, Red Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, Black Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mutton Snapper, Lionfish, Spanish Mackerel, Tilefish, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized! 

You'll step aboard a 21' Key West center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
