Your Fishing Charter

Spring Mix II Sport Fishing Charter is based at the Ocean City Fishing Center in Ocean City, Maryland. Captain Chris Watkowski is one of the best in the business. He puts his clients and friends on fish day after day, providing excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. The crew operates from 35 to 100 miles offshore in search of the big fish.

Enjoy a ride with Spring Mix II Sport Fishing Charter aboard a spacious 43' Willis boat, which comes powered by twin 500 HP Cummins engines. It has a 15.8 beam, a maximum cruising speed of 26 knots, and provides comfortable fishing space for up to six anglers. This clean, seaworthy fishing machine is rigged with top-notch navigational electronics, which include 3 VHF radios, brand-new GPS, a fishfinder, and a radar. A Tuna tower is fitted to aid your search for the fish, as well as a Release Marine fighting chair and outriggers for a professional fishing experience. Inside, the boat is air-conditioned, equipped with a multimedia system, TV, cooler, toilet, shower, beds, a sink, microwave, and refrigerator.

Whether you are a novice, an occasional angler, or a professional – the crew will work hard to make sure you have the most productive experience. Rigged for serious fishing, Spring Mix II Sport Fishing Charter offers full-day and overnight trips. May and June are the best time to catch Bluefish, Rockfish, and Shark, as well as Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna. Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, and White Marlin bite best from July to September, as well as in October when you can also target Tuna, Wahoo, and Marlin. Fall is ideal for targeting Bluefish and Rockfish.

The crew will team you up with some other enthusiastic anglers to make up a full charter. This trip is the same as the crew's 12-hour Tuna/Marlin trip. A fuel surcharge may apply if diesel fuel at the OC Fishing Center is higher than $4 per gallon on the day of your trip.

12 Hour Trip – Make Up / Split Trip

This will be 5 to 6 hours of fishing nearshore within 15 miles of the beach. This is mostly a catch and release Shark trip along with bottom fishing for Flounder. A trip of this kind could target anything as far as Cobia, Bluefish, Red Drum (late in the season), and any other species that will be in the area's nearshore waters. This is a great family trip. A fuel surcharge may apply if diesel fuel is higher than $4 per gallon at the OC Fishing Center on the day of your trip.

6 Hour Trip – Inshore

A 10 to 12-hour trip fishing for Mako and Thresher Shark anywhere from 20 to 65 miles off the beach. All the equipment will be provided. As of January 1, 2022, all Mako sharks will be released. A fuel surcharge may apply if diesel fuel is $4 or higher at the OC Fishing Center on the day of the trip.

10 Hour Trip – Shark

This 24-hour overnight trip will be trolling during the daylight hours for Tuna, Marlin, Dolphin, and Wahoo. You will drift fish at night for Swordfish and Shark. A fuel surcharge may apply if diesel fuel is higher than $4.00per gallon at the OC Fishing Center on the day of the trip.
