Salty Fresh Fishing Charters offer you memorable salt or freshwater fishing trip in Florida. Search flats and reefs and have a great time chasing various prized species that inhabit these bountiful grounds. You can also head out to the Everglades and try to catch the exotic species that thrive in South Florida. Captain Charles Ocasio will meet you in Homestead and take you for your adventure. Join in and have fun fishing!

The vessel you’ll be using is an 18’ Sea Chaser flats boat that can fit up to 3 guests. It runs on a 150 HP Yamaha VMAX engine and uses a fishfinder, GPS system, as well as VHF radio in order to provide for safe and efficient movement on the water. The boat has got a wireless trolling motor uses for a more discreet approach to the fish and is equipped with a livewell. You’ll also have an ice-box at your disposal so you can store your fish or drinks.

In the flats, Captain Charles can help you land Bonefish, Permit, big Snook, and Tarpon. He can also take you reef fishing for Mangrove and Mutton Snapper as well as Grouper. In South Florida Waterways, Peacock and Largemouth Bass can be found in abundance.

Using light tackle, you’ll attract your prey by trolling, spinning, popping, and drift fishing. You’re free to keep the fish you catch as well as to bring your kids aboard.

Your trip includes all the fishing equipment, live bait, catch cleaning, and licenses. The captain will also provide water and ice, so the only thing you should bring is the food of your choice.

Half Day Trip – Peacock Bass Miami

Half day fishing in the Florida Everglades targeting Peacock Bass. A 4-hour trip. Fuck this trip. If you would like to catch over 30 Peacock Bass in a four hour period book this trip has lots of action and guaranteed to catch a ton of fish! We will fish with live shiners to ensure we get fish in the boat right away! Many other species may be caught including Bass, Tarpon, Bowfin, cichlids, Florida Gar, Oscar, and Freshwater Snook.

Half Day – Peacock Bass Everglades

Come join us on this epic trip where we will primarily target Peacockbass largemouth bass and while fishing we are able to hunt iguanas as well with a 22 air rifle. Great trip for seasoned anglers and beginners. We will fish the Miami urban Canal system and catch Peacock Bass while shooting Iguana.

You and Captain Charles will spend 6 hours targeting lovely Peacock Bass as well as Largemouth Bass. Your trip starts at 8:00 a.m. and includes all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, licenses, catch cleaning as well as water, so just bring some food.

3/4 Day Trip – Peacock Bass Miami

On this trip, you get to pick the species you'd like to target. Fishing flats and backcountry water will allow you to go for Redfish, Trout, and Snook. If you opt for exploring reefs, you can expect to encounter Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, and Grouper, sharks, or Barracuda!

Half Day Trip – Saltwater Inshore

If a shark is on your bucket list, this is the trip that you want to do not uncommon to catch four or five sharks on a trip have caught 10 sharks multiple times. This is a really cool trip in the Everglades! We fish for sharks primarily on this trip, but there’s also Snook tarpon trout snapper and tons of Jack cravel! But if a shark is what you want, this is the trip for you!

3/4 Day Trip – Saltwater Inshore

During this trip, you will learn how to lobster in Miami or the Florida Keys. All diving equipment will be included. Lysing may be an additional cost. A cooler with ice and water will be on the boat. You may bring any drink drinks you would like the lobster will be clean for you at no additional charge. If there are any questions as the Captain fun family experience to snorkel and learn how to catch lobster

In this trip, you will be taught how to spearfish and for season veterans you will be taken to the reefs in Miami and Key Largo to Spear fish on the reef system. All diving gear and Spear Gun’s are included in the trip must adhere to all rules put forth by the captain for safety protocol. fun trip for beginners and experience diverse aswell
