Capt. Brian Morris grew up in a sport fishing, commercial fishing, and world renowned boat building community on the Outer Banks of North Carolina some 52 years ago and has been immersed in that heritage and ever since. He has fished all over the world, having cast his line in the east coast of the United States, Alaska, Micronesia, Panama, Baja Mexico, Hawaii, as well as in beautiful Southern California. His best decision in his life was to make a huge effort to fish around the world, learn new fisheries, and explore different cultures. Capt Brian holds a 100 ton USCG captains license.

Your boat for the day is a May-craft built center console that measures a spacious 29 ft and is powered by two 2025 Yamaha four stroke 150HP engines. Capt. Brian had the boat built for one thing, and that is fishing. If there’s a big fish on, you can walk all the way around the entire boat to make sure it ends up in the fish box. Top of the line SIMRAD and FURUNO electronics as well as SHIMANO tackle will ensure that you’re fishing with confidence!

Capt. Brian employs a wide range of fishing methods, including deep sea fishing, fishing with live bait and artificial lures, sight casting, shark fishing, kite fishing, bottom fishing, inshore fishing, and spearfishing. He targets a wide range of species.

This charter targets light tackle sportfish in the flat calm waters of San Diego Bay and not in the ocean. Fish targeted are halibut, spotted bass, calico bass, bonefish and various shark small shark species.

What's most folks favorite seafood.......75% of them say LOBSTER! We have beautiful spiny lobsters right here in San Diego. Join Capt Brian for five hours setting and pulling your own lobster traps. My brother and I grew up setting our own blue hard/soft shell crab traps behind our home in eastern North Carolina. It's the same exact technique here in Southern California. Super fun fishing for the family!!

SAN DIEGO LOBSTER FISHING

There are many different species of sharks here in San Diego and you dont have far to go to find them. Let Capt Brian put you on the hunt for mako, thresher, blue and  leopard sharks.

SHARK FISHING CHARTER

This charter targets Marlin, Tuna, Mahi, Mako, Yellowtail, and Thresher Shark in the offshore canyons. Be ready to get your clothes bloody!

Half Day Trip – Offshore

This charter targets STRIPED MARLIN, TUNA, YELLOW TAIL, and DORADO. When the fish are a little further out this charter gives you a few more hours to get the job done.

3/4 Day Trip – Offshore

This charter targets Striped Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail and Mako Shark. The 10 hours allows us to travel to more fishing grounds and cover more areas, if need be, to find the fish.
