Your Fishing Charter

Captain Richard Fishing Charters invites you on a unique fishing adventure in the always productive waters of Charleston, South Carolina. With a perfect climate and an abundance of fish available year round, Charleston is a must-visit fishing destination. This gorgeous port city was founded in 1670 and is defined by the most beautiful beaches and architecture you can ask for. 

You will have the advantage of taking in the sights of Charleston from the water aboard Captain Richard’s 25-foot SeaVee saltwater fishing boat. The vessel was originally built in 1988 and fully restored in 2016 giving it some needed TLC. It is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. 

Captain Richard’s vessel will take you to the best fishing spots using the onboard navigational equipment such as a GPS and a fishfinder. You will also have all the USCG approved safety equipment, a wireless trolling motor for the super shallow water, and a livewell for the baits. 

Captain Richard Fishing Charters offers inshore and flats fishing for Trout, Redfish, Ladyfish and Flounder; nearshore fishing for Sheepshead, Spadefish, Black Seabass, and Black Drum; offshore, reef, and wrecks fishing for Amberjack, Cobia, Barracuda, and more. 

You can fish the local harbors, the bays, the creeks and rivers, the jetties, and numerous shore reefs around Charleston, Kiawah, Folly Beach, and the Isle of Palms. 

Captain Richard is able to accommodate families with kids, beginners, and experienced anglers. Throughout his years of fishing and working on boats, Captain Richard has always maintained great customer service. Come and experience it for yourself on the beautiful waters of Charleston.

Come explore the Charleston Harbor with our experienced captains. We can accommodate up to 14 guest on the Missy. We will be searching for Sharks, Bull Redfish, and many other bottom fish while you enjoy the waterways around Charleston. These trips are catch and release only and a great way to get the entire family out on the water!
